Finest Essence

Our kitchen follows the same patience: pure ghee, slow flames and recipes that take their time, for every sweet on the counter and every plate at the table.

About Kaustubh

A family kitchen that still makes every sweet by hand

[2–3 lines in the owner’s voice: who started Kaustubh, where the recipes come from, and why the family still sticks to pure ghee and small batches.]

“Our only shortcut is that there are no shortcuts.”
— [Alok Pandey], Founder

Kaustubh gifting

Gift boxes, packed the way we cook

Every box is filled by hand on the day it leaves our counter, wrapped in our signature ribbon and sealed with the Kaustubh emblem.

A day at Kaustubh

From the first boil of milk to the last thali

Everything on our counter and table is made the same day. Here is how a day in our kitchen runs.

  1. [6:00 AM]
Milk reducing in a large copper kadhai over a gas flame.

    Milk on the flame

Fresh milk is reduced slowly into khoya and chhena for the day’s sweets.

  2. 10:00 AM
A staff member arranging trays of laddoo and barfi at the sweet counter.

    The counter opens

Trays go out warm: laddoo, katli, rasmalai and the day’s specials.

  3. [1:00 PM] — happening now
A steel thali with dal makhani, paneer, rice and naan on a wooden table.

    Lunch thalis

Dal, sabzi and tandoor breads for families and office lunches.

  4. [7:00 PM]
A cook ladling chutney over chaat at a busy evening counter.

    Evenings together

Chaat, dinner and a sweet to finish, until 11 PM.

Whatever time you come, something has just come off the kadhai.
